Written by Richard Peake, of Queen’s college, Oxford. Pasted on the cover at the end is a memorandum of Peake’s having entered college as a batler 26 Feb. 1711/12 and of his taking the degree of B.A. 15 Oct. 1715, and, on fol. 88 b, of his having commenced M.A. in Cambridge, at St. John’s college, 7 June 1719.

Towards the end of the volume are copies of speeches made to Charles Louis, Elector Palatine, on his coming to Oxford [in 1680], in Magdalen, Queen’s, New, St. John B., and University colleges.
