The writer was 28 years of age; he had three times taken up the study of the law; "as for phisik, and immediat folowinge the courte, I leve them as two extreames, to my purpose, the won beinge to meane for a gentelman, the other two high for a mene gentelwoman" (sic).

The paper abounds with Greek and Latin quotations, and is written by two hands.
