  1. (fol. 144) i. Order from the King to the commissioners of Worcestershire to furnish on loan from the inhabitants of the county 100 draught horses with strong harness, for the unse of the artillery; Oxford, 8 March, 1642.
  2. (fol. 145) ii. Letter from the commissioners to Lord Falkland in reply to a commission for the safe-guarding of the county, requesting that arms may not be removed by Col. Hamilton, who is ordered to attend Lord Capel with 100 dragoons armed, at the Town Hall, Worc., 18 March, 1642; with an order relating thereto passed by them at a meeting the same day.
