"Sunday last there was a battle-royall fought in the church at Banbury between the 2 mayors for the chair of state," and to-day at the fair six constables on either side are to struggle for the tolls; his "harmless adversary" [the dowager lady Katharine] proposes to carry the case about her husband’s will before the court of delegates.
