With relation to the will of his father William third viscount, whose property, on account of his mental incapacity, was vested in trustees; list of the committee of privileges in the House of Lords before whom the matter was to be tried; and order of the House on 31 March, 1701, referring it to the arbitration of lord Somers, the bishop of Oxford, and the earl of Rochester.

In Collins’ Peerage the name of the second wife of the third viscount is erroneously given as Anne instead of Katharine.
