In 1736 she marries prof. Joh. Jac. Syrbius, pro-rector of the university of Jena, whose death on 4 Nov. 1738 is notified in a letter of 17 Nov. [A biographical notice of Syrbius may be found in Jöcher’s Allgemeines Gelehrter-Lexicon, 1751].

Many of the letters are sealed with the Zollmann coat of arms, and after the marriage two with, presumably, the husband’s coat.

The letters are followed (fol. 306) by copies of a legal document in the name of the dukes of S. Salfeld and Coburg relative to the administration of family affairs, dated 11 March, 1741, and of a reply from the town of Gotha to a petition from Sophia R. Zollmann with reference to her father’s library and MSS., 29 Aug. 1741; with copies of other law papers in 1730–1. (fol. 308).
