For the sum of £23, of a tenement in the parish of our Lady Mary V., in Langham street, otherwise called Bocher street, abutting west on the street, east on the tenements of Nicholas Bate, north on that of John Brown, and south on that of John Arnoldson; which tenement James Middelton, son and heir of William Middelton sometime alderman of Calais, granted to Walravyn Coppe, "bocher", by indenture dated 27 March, 1414; 31 Aug. 22 Hen. VIII (1530).
