Shelfmark: MS. Rawl. D. 864, fol. 177
The subchanter and vicars desire to know whether he wishes to renew the lease of Homerwich, as the matter will be settled at "the next meeting, or 'deske' as they call it.
Endorsed with copies of two letters in reply from Ashmole’s brother-in-law, Sir John Dugdale, Ashmole being unable to "come at his writings by reason of his own and his wife’s weakness"; he hopes to renew the lease.
