A letter of compliment and of regrets for not seeing him, with notes of public news; mentions Alington’s companion, the duke [of Somerset].
The signature is partly effaced from having been formerly bound in at the back of the volume, but it is probably that of one of two brothers, Huguenot ministers, Jean or Philippe Mesnard.
