Item
Shelfmark: MS. Rawl. D. 859, fol. 49
A letter of compliment, but also asking him to move the parishioners of Sunningwell that the parsonage be not rated for a forth-coming tax as heretofore, viz. to the rate of eight yard-lands, but not above six.
Most of the letters from Dr. Jones in fols. 39, 42, 44, 47, 49, 50-3 bear good impressions of his seal of arms, in red wax.
