Chiefly English (Allen, Stapleton, etc.) from 1584 to 1602, showing that they teach nonobedience to heretical princes and encourage treason

Some title or preface is evidently wanting, although the first is signed at the foot with the letter A, signatures being continued on every alternate leaf up to the letter S.

The collection begins abruptly with a quotation from a commentary by "Bannes Mondragonensis" on Thomas Aquinas, published in 1584.

It is not bishop Thomas Morton’s tract of similar character, printed in 1605, which is much shorter.
