Or "Flying broken and imperfect thoughts", (as they are called at fol. 57), on theological subjects; devotional exercises, notes of self-examination, prayers, acknowledgments of his own failings, with much about his sister’s, and miscellaneous observations, set down during Granville’s stay in France in 1677–9.
The papers are numbered, in an imperfect series, up to 39, and then are followed by other fragmentary pieces not numbered.
