With questions about a brief MS. history of the Granville family, an inscription on Gabr. Swainston’s tomb, and a letter to the Freeholder, with Proud’s reply.
The letter to the Freeholder was by Proud himself on the occasion of Sir George Wheler’s being sent to Newgate for high treason; the MS. was corrected by hon. Archibald Campbell, who told Proud the story it contains.
