Thanks for a gift of £11 being part of Mr. Tomkyn’s charity, of which he has been advised by Rawlinson’s "worthy collegue, Mr. S—th" [bishop Smith]; has received his queries about the suffering clergy since 88, and expects to furnish something about two who were his wife’s uncles, Jonathan Davison, B.D., vicar of Aldworth, Wilts, and John Naylor, B.D., both fellows of St. John’s college, Cambridge.
