Sending a translation "in your tongue" of a computation by an unknown friend of the years of the world (which was to end in 1765), out of the writings of "the highly illuminated Jac. Behme".

The writer was desired to show the reckoning to the "inventor of the mysterious figures" of the writings of Boehme, who is said to be "that Polonus who refuted our blessed Pordage, living in this town, my envious adversary", and the translation of a reply to his remarks is included in the letter. Mention is made of Mr. Sprögel, of a Baron [Reichenbach?] who untruly complains that his mother does not give him more than £50 per an[num], of — Kuster, and of Oliger Pauli. The letter is directed "for the Lady Jane Leade in Hoghsdon, over against the Land of Promise, near London".
