For the determination of the lease of iron-smithies there, which tend to the destruction of the woods and of the common rights therein of the said tenants, they undertaking to make good the loss thereby to the revenue of the duchy, and to provide when required forty horsemen, armed, for the defence of the haven and castle called the Peel of Fowdray, or otherwise upon that coast, and elsewhere; etc.
