Enquiring whether Dr. Plot’s MSS. of his histories of Oxfordshire and Staffordshire, which were, with all his other papers, in Burman’s custody, would be an acceptable present to the Public Library.

Unhappily this offer seems not to have been accepted, as the MSS. never came to the Library.
