Very briefly jotted down, partly in short-hand, with here and there a word in Arabic characters.

The first page is headed "Ίατρικά".

The writer practised in Hungary, and was in attendance (amongst others) upon a count and his daughter. Two places mentioned are "Hustini" and "Patak;" and two persons, "D. Steph. Dalmadi" and "Mco. Do. Szolyomi".

The writer twice had consultations with a Dr. Patterson or Paterson; on the second occasion he writes, "Deo gratias quod Dr. Jo. Patersonius eandem morborum methodum medendi et rationem scripto firmavit quae a me praescriptae, usque ad rotulas corroborantes ipsas. Laus Deo, quod sapientia justificatur a f[iliis] s[uis]".

In another case, in which "Losaeus, Leodien. M.D.," was also consulted, he writes, "D. Dr. Ludovicus Losaeus dixit ingenue, Miror ego vos, cum tam paucis remediis, aegrum illustrissimum tot inter morbos, complicatos, contrarios, in vita conservare potuisse. Laus Deo, quod Luc. VII. 35." (sc. ut supra).
