Apparently in the neighbourhood of Wallingford, Berks, the rector of Brightwell [Seth Ward?] being mentioned as disliked by all his neighbours. [According to the Clergy of the Church of England Database, Robert Cripps was rector of Cuxham, Oxfordshire, 1664-1693.]
