Has no news to send him; his correspondence can only express his duty and affection, "besydes the learninge to write a good hand;" a conjuror cannot find money enough to please Percy; a letter from Bath contains an opinion that 100 men, well armed, lately put in charge of a Scottish officer of Percy’s, are withdrawn to the rebels; "Oh, that businesse of Lyme! God send us well of it."
