Giving notes of a visit to Chilham, Richborough, and Lympne in Kent, and of the Roman remains there.
Rawlinson has struck out Lhuyd’s name, which he had himself written. The journey was taken in company with Dr. Thomas Browne, whose own account of the whole tour, from Aug. 15, is printed in vol. iv. of Sir Thos. Browne’s Works, edited by S. Wilkin, pp. 457–462.
