Part of a collection (MS. Rawl. D. 371, fols. 20-98) of various petitions to King Charles II–Will. III (1669-1700) for relief for poor persons, pardons for condemned criminals, and appointments to offices. Several of the petitions are endorsed by Griffith with the remarks of Charles II, showing that each case was personally considered by him.
