Discourages a proposal to publish a collection of passages in the Fathers supposed to be corrupted by the Romanists; approves of a proposal to reprint early books of the English Reformation period, about which he had himself consulted Heylin four years ago, for which Sir H. Spelman had made preparations, and of which books old Mr. [Rich.] Smith of Moorfields has a collection.
