Presented as a New-Year’s gift to Herbert Westphaling, Bishop of Hereford, by his son "Harb. Westfalinge" in sixteen introductory Latin lines.

The MS. is assigned by Dr. Bliss in his notes to the Áthenae Oxon. to the Bishop, but it is evidently the work of the Bishop’s son Herbert. The dedicatory lines are headed, "Reverendissimo in Christo patri patri suo multis nominibus colendissimo foelicem annum exoptat Harbartus Westfalinge."
