Letter from Bp. Burnet to "Master Chiswell," at the Rose and Crown in St. Paul’s Churchyard; Salisbury, 17 Jun 1693
Item
Shelfmark: MS. Rawl. D. 169, fol. 19
Bp. Williams’ Life is very ill written, but full of curious things; Dr. South’s book against the Dean of St. Paul’s is a terrible one. All the Jacobites’ hopes upon Scotland must now be at an end. Desires that 6 copies of his Pastoral Care, with an Abridgement of the Reform. and the Lives of Rochester and Bedel, bound together, may be sent to Scotland to his brother. Hopes Dr. Patrick will be Dean of Ely.
