A book of copies of various letters on state and private matters in the time of Edward VI and Q. Eliz., but many without names or dates, 16th century
On the first leaf is attached a slip of paper with notes of the principal contents in the handwriting of bishop Tanner.
On the inside of the parchment cover is a monogram of an owner apparently representing the letters J. M.
Fols. 1-84b comprise the letters which have the names or initials of their writers or of the persons addressed.
