"Houses of religion builded", 16th century

    this

A list of monastic houses in England with notes of their foundation, and in a few instances notices of their churches and monuments; abstracted chiefly from Leland’s Itinerary (quoted as "Com. Angl. 1540") and in the first part from a writer referred to as "Hol.," not, however, as it seems, Holinshed.

Written, with many errors, in a formal clerkly hand, after the year 1565; another hand has inserted occasional corrections and a few additions very roughly and indistinctly written.

On the first page are scribbled the names, "Foster Anthonius" and "Barthelmew Weekes".
