At the end are some fly-leaves belonging to this exercise-book, with the following fragments:—

  1. (fol. 143) i. Part of a letter referring to legal matters connected with persons at Wrexham and Reithin, etc.; 6 June, 1596.
  2. (fol. 144b) ii. Letter (headed "Emanuel") without signature from someone at "the villag of Salop" to his father and mother, in which he asks them to send some reward to his "ost and ostes"; 10 Feb. 1596.
  3. (fol. 145) iii. Letter (signature cut off) to Mr. Halland (or Hulland), sheriff of the town of Denbigh, about the writer's performing some commission; Ludlow, 8 Apr. 1596.
  4. (fol. 146) iv. Commencement of a copy of an indenture between John Moyle, of London, gent., and Thomas Moyle of Keele y Grosloyd, Denbighshire, respecting some lands called Dole gloid ucha in Denbighshire, etc., leased to John Moyle by the earl and countess of Warwick, 1 Nov. 1578.
