Two copies of a scurrilous, and apparently political, satire entitled "The character of Bossu Nabob", who is described as "a hunch-backed ill-favoured dwarf", 18th century
The satire abounds with extravagant and obscure expressions, and to each copy is appended a table professing to explain the less obvious words and phrases.
Beg. "He is one whom if you cannot fancy upon the view to bee a 'perdrix de mer', or sole fish, because of his teeth".
Some additions are made on slips of paper, inserted in various places.
