By Joseph Williamson, of Queen’s college, Oxford, afterwards secretary of state to Charles II.
Prefixed is a dedication in French to "Monsieur Monsieur [Thomas] Tully, homme tresdocte et fort sçavant, compagnon du college de la Reine à Oxford, et mon patron plus honorè", signed by Williamson but not dated, in which the book is described as "premices de mes estudes"; the date therefore is probably about 1654, in which year Williamson took the degree of B.A.
The book itself is written by another hand, but Williamson adds a table of contents at the end.
