A common-place book of Abednego Seller, 17th century
"Written," as Hearne notes, "in his younger years"; chiefly theological.
On fol. 90b Seller notes his ownership of the book "ex dono amici mihi plurimum amati dni P. Steph. e coll. Exon., Maii 29, anno MDCLXV". The only name corresponding to this in Foster’s Alumni Oxon. is that of Peter Stephens, matriculated 6 Dec. 1639, who never graduated.
The principal contents are:—

- (fol. 29) ii. Notes on the Egyptian pyramids.
- (fol. 4 [volume reversed]) iii."Grammaticae Hebraeae" institutio.
- (fol. 22) iv. "Linguae Chaldaicae brevis institutio".
