Pay-books ingrossed by Antony Pontesbury, "clerk to the said accomptant".
The accounts furnish particulars of all the work done, the names of all the persons employed, and the rates of payment.
Payments made for "undermyding (sic) and casting downe the late abbey chyrche of Barking, for the providing of the ffayrest coyne stones and other to be ymployed of [sic] the Kinges manor of Dartforde," June, 1541-Dec. 1542.
On first two fly-leaves are accounts of G. Nedham at Wilshampstead in 1668.
