The principal contents of the volume are as follows:

  1. (fols. 1-19) Copies of some letters written by the governors in London to their agents in India in 1676–83.
  2. (fols. 20–135) Pleadings in the case of the Company v. Sandys in 1683, of which another copy is to be found in MS. Rawl. C 230.
  3. (fols. 215–250) Complaint exhibited in 1690–1 by the Council at Fort George against the governor Elihu Yale.

The rest of the volume is occupied by very various papers, such as lists of goods and prices, lists of officers at the factories and of ships, accounts of bullion exported, etc., with orders of the Court from 1699 to 1709.
