- (fols. 1-4) 1. Autobiography, dated "Nov. 1737, Dolphin Court, Holborn"; in this he mentions that he wrote various papers in the Tatler, Spectator, etc. See also MS. Rawl. D. 1145, fol. 1b for a full autobiography from 1716 to 1740.
- (fol. 5) 2. Dedication to [William, lord Cowper] the Lord Chancellor, prefixed to a translation of Grotius De jure belli et pacis in 1715.
- (fol. 6) 3. Memorial to Gibson, bishop of London, respecting Dr. Morrice’s being omitted from the list of royal chaplains on the accession of Geo. II; dated June 23, 1730, with a memorandum of its presentation on Aug. 20.
- (fol. 8) 4. Representation to the archbishop of York, praying that he may not be compelled to reside at his rectory of Thorpe juxta Newark, a parish of 3 or 4 houses and 30 or 40 inhabitants, which is served by a neighbouring clergyman for a third part of the living, the actual net income received by Morrice not amounting to £30; 2 Dec. 1737.
