- (fol. 1b) 1. "Names of the Master and Wardens, Assistants and whole Liverey of the Felowshipe of Woodmongers", 1617.
- (fol. 2) 2. Charter of incorporation granted by James I; 29 Aug. an. 3 (1605); the first page is richly ornamented in gold and colours, with figure of the King, royal arms, and arms of the Company.
- (fol. 13) 3. Orders made by the Company, as recited in a decree of confirmation by the Lord Chancellor and the Chief Justices, 18 May an. 5 (1607); the arms of the Company embellish the first page.
- (fol. 35) 4. Orders made by the Lord Mayors and the court of Aldermen in the years 1606 and 1613; with the arms of the City and Company.
- (fol. 38) 5. Order by the Privy Council, confirming an order of the Lord Mayor and Aldermen, assigning the government of the carmen of London to the Company of Woodmongers, fixing the carmen's tax for license at 13s 4d annually and 4s by name of quarterage for each car, and limiting the number of cars to 400; 30 Nov. 1608.
- (fol. 40) 6. License from the Company to John Blinkorne, carpenter, to have three car-rooms, in consideration of payment by him of £60, and the annual sum of 52 shillings; all actions against him thereupon ceasing.
- (fol. 41) 7. Order signed by Sir Henry Mountagu, Lord Chief Justice, respecting liceses, with reference to the preceding case of J. Blinkorne; 12 Nov. 1618.

- (fol. 73) 10. Decree of the court of Star-Chamber, 11 Oct. 9 Jas. I (1611), confirming orders made by the Lord Mayor and Aldermen for settlement of disputes between the Carmen and Woodmongers. The first page has an ornamental border.
At the end of the volume is inserted a copy of a paper, of the time of Queen Anne, entitled, "The case of the Woodmongers and Carmen of London in relation to their petition to the Queen for a charter"; viz. for a charter incorporating those outside the city with those within, and specially having reference to the cartage of coals. The old charter had been surrendered in 1668.
