In two parts; the first being an account-book of all his purchases from 19 April 1718 to 9 May 1741, giving names of booksellers, the volumes, sizes and prices, with class of subject; the second giving, apparently, a shelf-list of the books as arranged in 16 divisions or cases.

The first part is very interesting, as it gives entries of purchases at many sales of libraries by auction (which are separately entered in the index to this Catalogue), including large purchases at the sale of the library of Thomas Rawlinson.
