Among the contents are copies of a privy seal warrant (without the date) for payment to Sir Job Harby and Sir John Nulls of £25,000, with interest at 8 per cent., for their redemption of a great jewel pledged to the King of Denmark; orders in Council in 1640 for the importation of arms from foreign parts by Sir Job Harby; papers relating to the manor and rectory of Aldenham, Herts, and respecting Sir E. Harby’s chambers in the Inner Temple; bill in chancery bv dame Eliz. Harby, widow of Sir Job, against Sir Erasmus in 1664, with his answer; notes of Skinner’s case in the House of Lords against the East India Company; and the will of Sir Peter Wyche, dated at Oxford 3 Dec. 1643, and proved there 1 Feb. 1643, and at London 30 Jan. 1644.
