"The five years of King James;" being the first part of the "Narrative History of K. James," published by Michael Sparke in 1651, 17th century
This first part was written by Fulk Greville, lord Brooke.
At the end is added Sir F. Bacon’s speech at the arraignment of the earl and countess of Somerset, which is printed at pp. 165–176 in the second part of Sparke’s book, together with the trial of the countess, 22 May, 1616.
