At fols. 86, 262, 266, 280 and 290 are copies of five letters from Gyllenborg, 1741-1743; and at fols. 272, 274, of two letters from Count Carl Tessin, dated at Fontainebleau and Paris, 10/21 and 16/27 April, 1742.

This volume is much stained by damp.

The following note by Rawlinson is on the first fly-leaf in MS. Rawl. D. 569: —"These four volumes of MSS. belonged to Stephen Poyntz, esq., who was envoy in Sweden and plenipotentiary at Soissons" in 1728. "R+R."
