Notes extracted from the Registers of Simon Montacute and Thomas Lisle, Bishops of Ely, of the incumbents of parishes in Cambridgeshire, 1337–1355, particularizing such parishes as were appropriated to monastic foundations, 18th century
On leaves at the end are various business memoranda made by a bookseller, as it seems, in Jan. and Feb. 1752, in which is frequent mention of "Dr. Akenside" and the "Bishop of Hereford" (Beauclerk). A "Dr. Johnson" is also named; not, however, the lexicographer, since he had not then received his honorary degrees from either Dublin or Oxford.
