Beg. "Many and greate have been the troubles in which this kingdome of England hath beene involved in ye yeeres 1636, 1637, 1638, 1639, by reason of ye long intermission of parliaments."
At end. "Finis libri primi. Vide quae sequuntur in secundo libro."
A parliamentary newspaper was issued during the war which bears the same title of England’s memorable accidents. A single number, that for the last week of 1642, exists in the Bodleian Library, but its contents do not correspond with the narrative in this volume.
