Part of the treatise on the English coinage was printed by T. Ives in 1775 in No. 1 of his Select Papers, and the whole, from the original MS. then in the possession of Gough, in 1790 by J. Nichols in vol. vi of the Bibl. Topogr. Brit.

On a fly-leaf Dr. Rawlinson has written, "This treatise on English, Scotch and Irish coines, I am credibly informed, was compiled by the R. Rev. Dr. John Sharp, archbp. of York, at the desire of Thomas, earl of Pembroke."
