"A cursory description of Addington and the antiquites thereof, 1710;" being a description of the church and the monuments there, as printed (excepting the quotation from Blount) in vol. ii. of Aubrey's Nat. Hist. and Antiq. of Surrey, 1718, 18th century
This MS.,(which was given to Rawlinson by John Hare, Richmond Herald,) is written in a clear hand, "but by an ignorant scribe," [Quarto note, Macray, 1878] and contains the following Indian-ink drawings, very neatly executed:
- ground-plan of the church;
- the brass to John and Matilda Leigh;
- the monument to Eliz. and Sarah Lovell.
