"A transcript of severall epistles and prefaces to some books of my owne which are printed, and some others of mine which are not yet printed; also to some books of my freinds, some of which are printed, and some concealed;" by Sir John Pettus, 17th century
Prefixed to the volume is a table of contents, from which it appears that one article is now wanting, "My preface to King David's Dictionary."
At fol. 2b, is a list of eight "other books of mine intended to be finisht," including "The History of my private life from 1613 to 1640 and of my publick life from thence to 1645."
