Diary kept by Sir William Norris, Bart. ambassador from England to the Great Mogul, containing his proceedings from 10 Dec 1700 to the 23 Apr. 1701, "att my camp in the king's laschar at Parnellan", early 18th century
The MS. is evidently an autograph; but Rawlinson has inserted a loose slip of paper on which he has written "I find that Sir William Norris was not author of this journal."
At the end of the volume is an account of money received and expended to 15 Aug 1700, "at which time I left Metchlapatam."
