Two delegates from the Njoro Settlers' Association, Bodley Scott and Broatch, visited Iain Macleod, S/S Col., 'to make urgent representations to him and to Members of the House of Commons on the general security situation on behalf of the farming community generally and in particular on behalf of the Settler Associations in the area where the latest murders took place' (fol. 23).

The papers include correspondence about plans for the visit, a report of the mission, and copies of the 'Aide Mémoire' delivered to Macleod by the delegates. There is also correspondence with Paull Hill, Secretary, The Anti-Violence League, and related papers (fols. 43-53), and two copies of 'A Consideration of White Highlands Underwriting and Resettlement' (fols. 58-68).
