Letters from Margaret to Neil while she was a visiting senior lecturer at the University College of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, Mar-Aug 1962, with explanatory note written in 1998 in relation to two of the letters.
Letters from Neil to Margaret while she was a Visiting Professor at Northwestern University in the USA and he carried out work assignments in Sierra Leone and Ghana (Mar-May 1969) and Sierra Leone (Oct 1969-Nov 1970). With postcards of Las Palmas and Ghana.
Letters between Margaret and Neil while she was a Research Fellow at Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge, and he was working in Sierra Leone, with related correspondence with the British High Commission, Freetown, Sep-Oct 1970.
Letters between Margaret and Neil while she was in Cambridge and then Ghana and he was in Ghana and Sierra Leone, Jan-Sep 1971, with photographs of Neil.
