Contains 'Gum and Gum Arabic': corrected typescript of report by Malcolm, comparing the industries in Tanganyika (Tanzania) and Sudan, illustrated with map, photographs, and drawings (114 + 15 pp.). There are marginal comments initialled 'J.S.' [probably John Smith, Chief Conservator of Forests in the Sudan]. A covering letter from Malcolm, at the Colonial Office, to the Chief Secretary, Tanganyika Territory (Tanzania), is also included in the folder.
