- Papers relating to the 'Warburg Apparatus', comprising instructions for second year biochemists how to calibrate a Warburg Manometer, 1955 and a quote for the manometers from H. Mickle Medical and Laboratory Apparatus Manufacturer, 1955
- Papers concerning the history of Science at the University, comprising four photocopies of plan of the Science Area stapled together and annotated to show which buildings existed between 1940 and 1970; a series of graphs illustrating the number of men and women finalists in specific science subjects between 1913 and 1986 and two photographs of graphs, one showing the number of academic staff, 1945-85 and the other income, grants and staff numbers, 1945-80, 1986
