Documents concerning certain evacuations from Singapore on 13 Feb 1942. Copy of statements from fellow internees taken down and typed by Thomas during internment in Changi Gaol concerning the actions of Brigadier Simson, Major Nunn (Director of Public Works), and F.D. Bisseker in issuing passes to British male civilians, many from the Public Works Department, to leave Singapore on 13 Feb 1942, with Thomas's comments and evaluation; further notes written by Thomas in Kerenko prisoner of war camp, Oct 1942, with memoranda by J.O. Plunkett (Malayan Public Works Department (PWD)) and F.M.G. McConechy (State Engineer, PWD) concerning the evacuation; 1945 report of a commission investigating the 'Double Tenth' arrests in Changi Gaol; copy letter, 11 Sep 1945, from Thomas to [Sir Cosmo?] Parkinson concerning the treatment of internees in Changi; list of those taken out of Changi for interrogation by the Kempe Tai in 1943, with date of return and, where appropriate, date of death.
